Welcome to my website!

I am a graduate student at Rice University working under the supervision of Dr. Qimiao Si. I am also president of the GSA soccer club bringing together students, faculty, and postdocs to play indoor and outdoor soccer year round.

My research in theoretical condensed matter physics has been motivated by unconventional phase transitions found in experiments on heavy fermion metals.  Broadly speaking, my research program at Rice University has implications for nanotechnology, high-temperature superconductivity, quantum phase transitions, and new concepts in theoretical physics (see Research). This work is conducted in collaboration with several other scientists from the University of Florida (USA), Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (Germany), National High Magnetic Field Lab (USA) and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (UK) (see Collaborators).  In addition, my work was featured in an article by the Weiss School of Natural Sciences at Rice University in 2011.
